Mr D’Arcy, your slip is showing
Colin Firth, aka, Mr D’Arcy and late of Mama Mia the Musical, said, "Actors are basically drag queens. People will tell you they act because they want to heal mankind or, you know, explore the nature of the human psyche. Yes, maybe. But basically we just want to put on a frock and dance".
Well, duh?
What actors have over the rest of us that they get to don a different drag every time they change jobs. The rest of us can end up stuck in the same frock for life

Largely immune to fashion? Tick. Out of date and over the top? Tick. The higher you go, the glitzier the frock, the flashier the jewels, and if you get to the top, everyone has to kiss your ring. Tick. Yup, they’re drag queens.

Sportsmen
Dick drag: There are only two places in the world where buffed-up blokes can a) wear lycra so tight you can tell their religion b) size each other up in communal showers, c) use performance enhancing drugs c) go into a clinch whenever they score and d) turn every little hurt into a flaming crisis – gay clubs and sports clubs. Drag queens.
You know, I reckon we’re all drag queens at heart!! What’s your drag?
