Streaming live at www.joy.org.au 7-8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time - join in by emailing onair@joy.org.au during the show.
Joining me in the studio tonight we have bnews reporter Andy Noonan, our regular contributor Ron Thiele, and making a welcome return to the show, Cathy Anderson, formerly of bnews but now working at MX, the daily freesheet.
You may not have noticed, but the Queer Collaborations conference was held in Melbourne last week – we have a report from James Vigus Queer ( male ) Officer from National Union of Students.
Meanwhile in Sydney the protests against the Pope’s visit continued with an annoying fashion parade of t-shirts outside state parliament – Rachel Evans of Community Action Against Homophobia was there.
Up in the Northern Territory there isn’t going to be a Pride event this year, Instead they’re planning an Out Weekend, and we’ll talk to the assistant co-ordinator, Peter Caust.
And of course regular contributor Rodney Croome will be joining us from Tasmania.
We’ll also hear what’s making news in bnews this week, and we have to find time to talk about Cardinal Pell and his handling of sex abuse claims.
Join me and my guests tonight on Joy 94.9, Australias full-time gay and lesbian radio station.
