Same sex marriage is a terrible idea. Adam and Eve NOT Adam and another Adam. Jesus Would Not Approve.

Why is it necessary for the government to recognize same sex couples as legitimate? Perhaps these couples feel illegitimate...Well sure they feel illegitimate; to divert intercourse to a wrongful purpose is defined as perversion. The question then becomes what is the purpose of sex between the same sex couples? Is the purpose an unnatural union? Well if it's unnatural then we could say a same sex union is a crime against nature.
Makes sense to me!
So then why should society/government recognize a persons lack of a natural sexual identity as something to be legal when it is not inherently illegal?
Perhaps the queers want to legitimize perversion?
Bottom Line....I am not convinced a reasonable society/government should support the ideas put forth by the legalization of same sex marriage.

Thanks for commenting: unfortunately the detailed answer to your points would take a book.
Briefly, there is nothing abnormal, unnatural or perverse about same-sex relationships, they are qualitatively identical to opposite sex relationships.
They are entirely natural and normal, occur throughout nature, and are a normal part of human genetic variability, of no more moral significance than the colour of your hair, or skin, or eyes.
Heterosexuality is not normal, merely common: what is normal is diversity.
