Bomber disrupts Copenhagen Gay Games

Four 'bombs' are reported to have exploded during a World Outgames track and field event Tuesday, injuring one runner, Dean Koga from Seattle.


He was treated on the scene for a minor hand injury after two bombs were apparently tossed from a nearby church tower. Two more bombs exploded while the police were searching the church.

Police are reported to have detained a 31-year-old man alleged to have lobbed what Danish papers are reporting a 'fireworks' or 'large maroons'.

The incident comes on the heels of a gay bashing incident that marred the opening of the games on Saturday.
